More "fulsome" aroma--touch of raspberry jam with the cherries. Medium- to full-bodied wine with some soft tannins. Perhaps more acidic than the Kastania Pinot Noir. I like the purity of fruit and restraint of the Kastania, but both are very enjoyable. Matched nicely with a duck confit dish. (Duck confit with wilted frisee, walnuts and poached quail egg.) Might have been in Burgundy with some of the dishes and wines.
