13.9% alcohol; about $25 ($20 by the case)
Deep ruby color, not opaque but not easily seen through either.

My opinion has been up and down on this wine--currently up.
On the palate blueberries, boysenberries, but also some cherry. Smooth drinking. Had it with chicken strips and macaroni and cheese one night and the next night with chicken Marsala and broccoli. I liked it better at home over several days than at an instore tasting. At an instore tasting on another occasion I thought it showed better than the first time. Reasonably priced.
