This is the wine Joe Dobbes makes from Rogue River fruit. From our experience, it's always easily approachable, fun, and not too serious. It is, though, always yummy. This one opened up with aromas and flavors of blueberry pie and fresh-picked blackberries, and was a juicy explosion to drink. Yummy, yummy, yummy. Anne would prefer more refined sophistication, but it wasn't enough to keep her from polishing off most of the bottle. 223 cases produced. 13.9% alc in check. We paid in the $24-ish range at their tasting room on our '06 trip out there, and we should have bought more. It's probably as good as it'll get right now.
