- winoweenie - 04-30-2006 Clear brite ruby. Tart cherry, spice, and vanilla nose. All come over on the palate. Good entry, weighty center and a 3&3/4 lapper finish that bodes well for ageing. Tart mouthfeel that seems to have an abundance of tannins. Needs another 2-4 to resolve the tannins and integrate the components. 89/89. 40 by the box. 14.7%alc. The entry's soft but assertive. Solid center and the finish has flushed out to a solid 4+ lapper finish. Can improve for another 1-2 and hold for 8-10. Solid citizen. Kick this hummer up to a 90. No change in scoring. WW - winoweenie - 09-28-2008 Had another today with some lovely Steamer Clams in butter, wine, and garlic. This bottle has really started showing its' class. The nose is killer.
