Sparkling brite ruby. Reluctant nose at first. After an hour the red fruits, sweet cinnamon spiciness, and a touch of barnyard hit. All come over on the palate. Supple entry, weighty center and a 4+ lapper finish. 90/94 24 from Vintage 14.5% alv. WW

Nose has come on like gang-busters. Lots of mature fruits and sweet spices along with just enough funkiness to add interest. Solid entry and center and the finish is still long and strong. Not quite enough maturity to kick this hummer up. WW

Had this at lunch yesterdsay with BRW and CorkDork along with a Magnum of McCrea 03 Cuvee d' Orleans. The SS was again a beautiful wine showing the Pinot characteristics that Bucko loves so well . The McCrea is a powerful bottle of Syrah juice that always satisfys. Know I've posted on it before but too lazy to look both up. Definately in the outstanding catagory on both bottles. WW
