Purchased at Seaboard Wines in Raleigh for $17.99. Uses a screwcap. Listed as 12.5% alcohol.
A pretty ruby color in the glass with semi-transparency. Light cherry flavors; light-bodied. I liked it better the second evening than I did the first evening. The first evening it seemed too tart but the second evening it went down well with a slice of ham in a tropical fruit marindade. Its mild nature assures that it won't overpower many dishes. On the third evening I had it with orange/ginger shrimp. Would I purchase again? Possibly, but I think for the same price I could get a Spanish, Italian or Australian wine with more complexity.
