Planted in 1998 this is a relatively large vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. Has a neat nose that shows red, black and sour Cherry fruit. Spicy and some earthy notes. Still some tannins that shut down the finish but stioll hits 4 lappers. Needs another 2-4 and a potential superior bottling. 90/90 14.3%. 45. WW
