Lovely structure. Medium brite ruby. Red fruits, leather, and spicy nuances. Silky entry, nice middle palate, and a solid 4-lapper finish. Still some soft tannins to resolve. 90/90. 40 by the box.14.6% alc. WW

How funny, we had this last night as well. I found it enjoyable as did the rest of the table. This was my first pinot since since a bottle of 2000 DRC Echezeaux a week or so ago and just couldn't live up to my recent memory even though the pros rate these wines as approximately equals, which is surely a bad joke.

Had another with lunch today with Copper River Salmon. Delicious on both counts. Np change in scoring. Musta' missed Stealthmans' post originally. He didn't post the price of the DRC....That's the real joke. WW
