This is their basic Willamette Valley bottling, which is replacing the unfortunately named Belles Soeurs, a companion label used for a Pinot cuvee from purchased grapes. Decanted at time of 1st pour and left there for the rest of the evening, which meant two hours, which is the time it took us to finish it. Dark garnet in color, with a perfumed nose of black plums, a hint of barnyard, red spices, and something floral. Plum and cherry flavors are full and rich, almost creamy in this lovely, balanced wine, and the finish lingers. Very, very nice juice that will only get better over the next couple of years, though it will be best consumed within 5-7 years, IMHO. Anne's thoughtful, reflective commentary on it was "Yummy good." The dogs gave it to Anne as part of her Mother's Day gifts, and they paid about $45 for it. Alc.. 14.2%.
