This thing needs a major decant (I've read some pretty poor reviews on this wine and most noted that they dcanted for 2-4 hours). In my case, knowing this, I tried it after it had sat half finished in a bottle for 8 hours. Only then was it coming back into shape. It will never be a blow your socks off Bordeaux but for the price that I got this at ($20), it is a serviceable bottle. Talk about tight....no analogies, as I'm sure WW would have so poetically proposed.

"a new pair of shoes", "IKs' wallet", "Drews' back-swing", "Hotsies retirement schedule", or perhaps "KCs' leash that Judy has on hims neck". Is them what you be talking 'bout?

Yup.... Maybe not quite as tight as IK's wallet but maybe a bit looser than KS's leash.. At least Judy lets him breath....

Uh..... say what??? I'll have you know I'm quite happy with the relationship Judy and I have - mostly.

and it's not my backswing that's tight....it's at the 19th hole settling up my losses that the tightness takes hold

D@mn, this thing shows no sign of loosening up!!! needed 5 hours in the glass to start to relax a bit... Still tight!

Sounds like Engineer might have been a little "tight" too, double-posting like that.

'Twas not me It has to do with some combination of clicking the submit button and something else ...and I'm sticking to that story

Pulled a bottle of this from a friend's cellar to see how things were going. Still buttoned up and not showing much of anything until a big decant. No change in notes.
