I bought a case of each of these(St Estephe and St Emilion) and have searched some data bases for info on them and can't seem to find anything. Had them in the basement since 1985 and wondering if they're worth anything. Tried Wine Spectator and wine searcher

Hi Dave N abd welcome to the board. These two wines are some of the super drinkers of the great 82 vintage. Drank my last Colon about 4 months ago. Was a great drink. The Pavie still has a ways to go, maybe 3-4 years before peaking. It's a marvelous bottle and IMHO a point or two better than it's sibling (Decesse). It's selling in the 119 buck range , which I think is absurbd. (Low ) Any-way, look forward to many pleasant hours with two super bottlings fromt thew 82s. WW
