Was 1970 a good year for red Bordeaux? Has anyone any knowledge of Chateau Talbot.I have a bottle of 1970 Talbot, and wondered its quality and possible value.

Talbot is a fourth growth, 1970 was an excellent year. Unfortunately the two did not get together that year. The wine is mediocre.
