This is the second label from Cos d'Estournel. Really nice blend of Merlot/CS at about 60/40. Interestingly, this is done with all stainless - no oak. These folks at Cos are so sure of their second that they've let the fruit speak for itself, and it does. About $9 at full retail. [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/smile.gif[/img]

Love the Cos but havewn't seen this lil' bro in our neck of the woods. I went heavy on the 2nd labels as they seemed to offer more bang for the buck. They use a different blend for the baby vs. the Cos which has more cab than merlot and also adds some cab franc. I'll look for this hummer. WW

I'll check out the rest of them when I go into the shop today, if all the rest of the remainders from the staff tasting haven't been glommed yet. BTW, the Maitre was in the mid range for price on these beauties. A couple were in the $6 - $7 range. A really nice crop of seconds.
