We opened several old Bordeaux wines over the course of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. My favorite wine was the 1978 Haut Brion, which surprisingly (for me) took over 3 hours to open up. Loads of luscious sweet old Bordeaux flavors, full taste, and a long finish. Gorgeous.
