($9.99; 12.5%) ruby color. good initial nose of black cherry, plums, with hints of peppery spice and leather. tastes of same, with a silky mouthfeel. good entry, but falls away on the midpalate, then rallies on the finish. good, but a little thin -- and doesn't at all taste to me like a Cotes de Bordeaux, which it is. tastes a little more like a CdR. drink it young. 84 points.
