Very pale in the glass, only the faintest hint of golden hue; very subdued nose, faint lemony grassiness; more of the same on the palate, almost a Sauvignon Blanc yet still identifiable as a Chardonnay, like nothing you'd ever encounter from the left coast. Lip-smacking, proving the bottle is much too small for two people to share for supper of broiled chicken breasts, boiled yellow squash and roasted broccoli with lots of garlic and EVOO. 12.5% alc/vol and $14.69 at Costco. I'll buy more.

That sounds like my style. I'll have to seek this one out.

Over the past few years, many Chablis producers have slid over to the bigger, fattier side, which I do not appreciate.
