I've been really enjoying wines form Fillot for a couple of years now. His 06 Chassagne Montrachet was outstanding. This year, as per the vintage, it a much more focused wine. The Bourgogne shows nice fruit, but better yet, a flinty minerally taste with a good dose of acidity. The Mersault is more giving, more mealy and is a denser wine, but still with a nice acidity backbone. Wonderful

I tasted a Fichet Puligny Montrachet "Les Referts" several years ago that still sticks in my memory. I prefered it over a Carillon "Les Referts" although Carillon gets more attention than Fichet.
