Friends came by from SF so we went downstairs a diggin'

Pulled a few bottles

2002 Herbert Lamy St. Aubin
2000 Roumier MSD Cloe de la Bussiere
1990 Chapoutier Hermitage le Sizeranne
1970 Ch. L'Arrosee
2002 Baumard Clos Ste. Catherine
2001 Doisey Verdrine Sauternes

The first bottle was the Lamy St Aubin which started the proceedings of just right. Light gold in color, tart noe of green apples, crisp minerally, nice body, rich round but refreshing. With some air, it took on a more body and started to bring on some nuttiness more minerally and the fruit went into the background.

Very nice with some seafood....if we had seafood.
