From half bottle, restrained nose of green apple, wood, perhaps more muted than it should be, good length and grapefruit rind white, Slight heat to finish. A bit discombobulated for me but looks to be in good shape. No early oxidation 5 years into vintage.

I opened up a second one to see if it was just the first bottle that was a bit discombolulated. Second bottle was very similar but better. With a bit of air, it became a very smooth, rich, dense meursault. Very nice so the rest of the stash should be safe!
