today with the mighty BRW. Talk about your origins. The Russell had the brite red fruits, sweet spices, and lovely balance of the Alex Valleys top offerings. The minute your stuck your schnozz in the ZD it was evident that this hummer had the Napa dirt normally associated with Rutherford. Both were extremely well-balanced efforts and had silky entrys, solid centers and a 4 lapper on the Russell and a 4&1/2 on the ZD. Both of the wines are by any measure in the low to mid 90s and both were in 42 area. Fun lunch. WW
