Out of a magnum. A friend opened this up fearing that the bottle would be one of those '97's that had seen better times. This one turned out nice in fact. A bit of tobacco, earthiness, funkiness started the nose but the ripeness and the fullness of the wines came back. Suspect we caught thins in a good place. Nicely bought for $30.

Out of a 750. Superb example of an aged Napa cab. Keen aromatics, soft supple entry and a 4+ lapper finish. After starting this thread I just noticed this was the Reserve. Whatever a killer botting that went extremely well with the 93% fat free chuck hamburgler with heirloom tomatoes, sweet onions, and salsa. Thoroly satisfying 4th. WW (12.5% alc)
