Blackberry/cassis on the attack with lead pencil developing on the mid palate and a hint of cedar on the finish. Very smooth, tannins mostly resolved. Tasted like this right out of the gate and for all of its short life after that. Classic cabernet and all that for only $20. Anyone got a take on their '97?

Hi ddf, yea I done drunk from the Groomster's still. I personally like the 94 better than the 97 but the 97 is a solid wine. Think I placed it at the very good level. Only put half a box in the cellar, mainly because they still represent fine Q/P levels. WW
