visited this wonderful winery 2 weeks ago.Met Ken Weiss the winemaker who has been makin it for I think the last 20 years or so.Was a wonderful visit. Now to the wine.nose was young but with time it,s gona develope nicely. Fruit is black cherry. these grapes are from rutherford so you def. got that dust going on plus cocoa and oak.the finish is nice.well balanced and a doggone steal @24. a bottle from the winery.I liked it so much I bought a case.If you see it, try it ,I think you will like it.8800 cases made.I score it a 90 with a 3.25 lapper.thanks ww for setting up the vip tour at flora

big red: i posted on this wine last month and also really enjoyed it. my TNs...

($24.99; 14.2% alcohol) bright ruby, with a hint of purple. beautiful, full nose of cherry, dark fruits and spice. very good flavors of red fruits in the mouth. silky mouthfeel, is elegant on the entry and begins expanding midpalate and through the very long finish. full, fine drying tannins will take this one quite a ways. one of those rare wines that shows elegance as well as a bit of muscle, 91+ points.
