Had a friend over who tried this at a restaurant in San Francisco and wanted to try it in a more neutral setting. He wasn't sure that the setting influenced his evaluation of the wine. After the 1st glass he confirmed he loved this classic Napa bottling. Keeps on keepin' on and seems to add a new dimension evertime I open a bottle. The cabernet franc is less dominate in the nose but the violets are still there. Great structure, fruit-loaded, and a killer finish. Still 3-5 until this peaks. 92/93. 30 by the box. WW
