Sorry guys for the possible spelling error, thought you all would figure it out what I meant anyway. I was in one of the finer dining establishments in my area the other night,The Beekman Arms if anyone has heard of it and anyway it was a Christmas dinner given by my wife's employer,so everything was free. The wine served at our table was a bottle of Coppola's cabernet. Don't know the year however. I have to say it really was pretty good. Any impressions or do you think I would better served looking elsewhere? Thinking of making a purchase.

Why would you look elsewhere? YOU liked it, and when it comes to wine, that is all that matters. I may not like something that someone else finds fabulous. Trust your own palate. Just ignore any WW recs -- the sun baked him years ago... Happy holidays to you.

have tried almost all of the Coppola wines except for this one. Have enjoyed them all except the Diamond Series Chardonnay- WAY too oaky for this chick. Glad to see others enjoying his stuff. WD

Hi Tom1960. Francis Ford owns ,IMHO, one of the greatest vineyards in all of Napa Valley.
Don't remember the exact issue but there was a great report in Wine Spectator recently about how he was searching for the answer to the great Inglenook wines that John Daniel made. You can pull it ip on WS web. WW

Thanks WW for the info. I will look for the article on there website. I was in the Napa Valley back in September and wanted to stop by Coppola's but someone at Berringer's told me that you had to setup a reservation in advance. Bucko,I will take your advice and will make that purchase today. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE AND ALL!
