Had this little sucker at a tasting in our shop this past Thursday. Gorgeous, if not exactly ready. Black as death, explosive nose, great concentration, spent THIRTY months in American oak, which barely made a dent in the fruit flavors and wafting notes of lanolin, eucalyptus, and limestone. It's tannic as all git-out and needs at least, IMHO, two years of layin' down but, after that, I think this is going to be a really titanic Cab. Best part is the price: $19.99 from us; going for about $21-$22 elsewhere. Real inky, powerful stuff.
