An impeccibly balanced meritage of 52% Napa Cabernet, 28% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc. Always on my short list of "Must Buy" Meritages. Brite medium ruby. High floral nose with red fruits, cardamon, cinnamon, and vanilla. Silky entry, a medium weight center and a solid 4-lapper finish. This rather limited production wine (under 2000 cases) is on par with all the upper echelon wines from Napa IMHO. Not on the P/Q chart but still a value. 92/90. 45 by the box. WW

The second wine opened at the club today. This wine seems to be approaching its' zenith. Lovely wine that is a beautiful bottling that typifies the grape. Don't panic if you have this in the cellar because, IMHO, it will hold another 6-8 wif' no problemo. Balanced and beautifully crafted, this is one delicious bottling. Maybe a point higher than last bottle. WW

Had another at lunch today. Brite ruby that's has a slight bricking at the rim. Lovely balance with stunnung nose and palate experiencing the same lovely aged meritage juice. No sign of decline so still holding strong. Would moniter yearly if you have the stash to do so. No change in scoring. WW
