- winoweenie - 06-05-2007 Who turned out the lights? This opaque, almost purple-hued, shows no signs of ageing. Ruby rim. Took 30 minutes in the glass for the deep aromatics of blackberries, cream de cassis and spices to show. All hit the palate along with a surprisingly accessibility on the tongue. Solidly crafted and built for the long haul. Big entry, weighty center, and a 4+ lapper finish. Still some solid tannins that'll take another 2-4 to resolve. A terrific Veeder. 92/93 29 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW - TheEngineer - 06-05-2007 Sounds nice......I can't drink anything tonight due to meds...this is killing me... |
