14.5% alcohol
Viscous. Very dark purple color and opaque. Fulsome black currant scent. A little leather and dried herbs contribute to the nose. Perhaps a bit too much volatility (read vinegar) midpalate--may be too old or in an awkward phase. Will see if aeration improves the flavors.

It did improve a bit with aeration. Still not a must buy. I had this with strip steak with sesame steak sauce and another evening with stuffed bell pepper. Some sediment in the last glass.
