Had by meself last nite. Made the WS top 100 in 99 and rightly so. Don't know what has happened to this venerable producer the last few years as I've been unable to pull the trigger on any of the last few releases. Opaque ruby. Nose has red and black fruits, spice, some vanilla and a slight minty note that's not intrusive. Good entry solid center and a 4 lapper finish. Seems close to TTOIG as I only detected minimul soft tannins at the very end. Solid effort. 90/95 21 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW (Their Generations bottling has been a staple in my cellar until the last few releases and I considered it one of the 7-8 best Meritages and certainly the best P/Q on the shelves)
