13.8% alcohol. Medium to dark red. Grapes from California (no further designation). Soft, pleasant quaffer or dinner wine, maybe with prime rib or beef tips. I would go with a heartier Cabernet for steak. $18.99

It was the suggested retail price from the distributor when I sampled it at a tasting. Haven't checked it out at an actual wine shop.

If I'm not mistaken, I got this at BevMo for $8.99- or is this a reserve/vineyard select? I enjoyed this one also. Better than the Avalon.

I didn't write it down as a reserve. The pourer must have been mistaken about the price.

Thanks, CG, for pointing out the Drew thread. I wasn't as thrilled with the 2003 as others were with the 2002 but at $10 range it would be a good QPR.
