Opened thiis and served blind to Josh as he was programming. Always a kick to watch the expression whenced the Gallo name is announced. This wine is at the very top of its' game IMHO. Can't get much better or it will be the only bottle I'd want to open. Brite ruby with no browning. Nose of lovely flowers, spice, cassis, and a dopse of earth. Silky entry, weighty center and a solid 4+ lapper finish. 91/93. 17 by the boax. 14.1% alc. WW

I have a tasting with Gallo in the next couple of months. I hope my expectations aren't too high! Who knows what they will bring, but I hope it will excite!!

Opened another of this lil lovely last nite. Jes' keeps on keepin-on. Not much to add to the previous post except the old Monday Morning Quarterbacks lament..."Wish I'da bought more". WW
