We started the evening with a glass of bubbly ( Tarlant, Cuvee Louis ) Nice juice. Next came a bottle of the 97 Schweiger Merlot that I reported on earlier. Then on to a 96 Cohn Olive Hill Cab , 95 Dehlinger both of which need more time. Then to 2 stars of the evening a 93 Arrowood and an 87 Arrowood. Great juice and definately related. Next was a 94 Mt. Veeder and a 94 Mondavi Reserve, both super enjoyable. Capped off the evening with a bottle of 77 Dow Vintage port. Had lots of food, cheese (went thru almost a whole tin of Cougar Gold ) and all-in-all had a marvelous time.Both couples were picked up and driven home by one of their daughters. Re,markably, I found our bedroom and had no problemo retiring for the nite.WW [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/wink.gif[/img]

Tough to beat that Cougar Gold! Love the japaleno as well.
