I recently was out for dinner and ordered a glass of the Montes cabernet. Quite enjoyable. I've been searching for this at my local wine stores with no success yet. Hopefully,I'll come across it sooner or later. Do you guys have any opinions on this wine? I couldn't tell you the vintage I tasted since it was the one of the house wines. Anything you could add would be helpful. Thanks.

Montes is a Chilean vineyard that makes very agreeably drinkable wines. Amazing you're having trouble finding it as it has a large import prescence. In the fighting varietal price poinr of 10-15 per. WW

The problem is that I live in a small city,25,000 pop. While there are a few notable stores, selection wise it's sometimes frustrating to find names recommendated in various publications and on the message boards. You do the best you can.
