What a gorgeous wine. From the deep ruby color to the nose of violets, red fruits, sweet spices and vanilla. Silk on the tongue and satin in the throat, this wine passes the fabric test. A far superior bottling to their regular Napa unfiltered that I've reviewed. Have no notes on the composition but it has to have a dose of Merlot in the blend. Had with a nice NY Strip Med-Rare and matched swimingly. My first encounter with this paricular bottling. Worth every penny of the 50 per case price. Still has 2-4 to shed the last of the supple tannins. 94 (maybe 95 ). WW
