Deep ruby. Concentrated nose of cassis, allspice, red fruits with pencil shavings and vanilla thrown in.All come over on the palate with a touich of cocoa. Close to the top of its' game, the tannins left are soft and velvety. A blend of 94% cab sav, 3% cab franc, and 3% petite verdot this is one of the top 95s IMHO. Supple entry, heavy center and a solid 4&1/2 lapper finish puts this sucker in with the big boys. 93/91 45 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW

Had lunch with BigRedWines and his son yesterday and we had the Row 11 Pinot again. So after 3 days without my cab fix had to open this. Still going strong as Nellies Breath. No change in scoring. WW

I like Simi's Cabernet. Will have to be patient with my 2001 bottle of the reserve.
