Tried this sucker for lunch. Brite medium ruby. Nose of black fruits, cassis, and some oak. A blend of Cab, Cab Franc, Merlot, and Petite Verdot. On the palate all come across with a healthy dose of spices , some sweet and a tad of mint. Still a baby that needs at least another 3-5 to resolve some considerable tannins. Has the usual Rutherford dust associated with this bottling. 88/90. 34 by the box. 13.9% alc. WW

Had another yesterday and as the old saw goes " This hound can Hunt!". Supple mouthfeel, lovely aromatics and a 4+ lapper finish. Could possibly imorove over the next 1-3 but so neat now why wait? Will try the Bosche today whilst this memory is somewhat ingrained. A solid offering from this prestigious producer. WW B-) ( Tho I've stopped the numerical stuff this IMHO is now a solid 90 )
