My ole' buddy Mike dropped by yesterday and we opened another bottle of this lovely critter. I've been monitoring this every 6 months and it just keeps on keepin'-on. By any stamdard this is a super bottle of juice. The only problem that this is the vintage that took this from a P/Q leader at about 91/93 to the 97 vintages' 90/87. In offer wordley, from 38 to 55 in 3 easy vintages. Life goes on! WW

I don't have the Generations but do have several of their '94 Napa cab. Raymond did indeed used to be a QPR with all their bottlings but no mo'.

Opened this for lunch yeasterday and forgot to post on it Lovely brite ruby. Nose has developed with floral, spicy, plummy, and vanilla notes. Slight increase in the intensity but after 5-7 years this bottling has pretty well developed as far as it will go. Think this my last bottling. Always a pleaser but as noted after this vintage seems the Raymond sons kicked-up the pricing. No change in scoring. WW
