When you team up a great winemaking crew with grapes of the quality of this famous Rutherford vineyard the results are pre-ordained. Deep ruby. Nose is killer....red and bklack fruits, sweet spices, and a major dose of the famous dust. Entry is massive, huge center and a 4&1/2 lapper finish. Still a few silky tannins present but this suckers so tasty now who gives a rats? Massive yet balanced, an extremely satisfying drink. 92/90. 62 by the box. 14.4% alc. WW

I think Elyse is one of the producers participating in Triangle Wine Experience in February. However, I signed up for the dinner at Saint Jacques Restaurant with French wines from the Frederic Wildman portfolio (a Meursault and a Crozes-Hermitage are among the offerings I believe.)
