.This one initially had a nose that was quite herbaceous, bell pepper, then with a bit of air, hit it with some very ripe fruit, smooth texture and the characteristic sunny impression of the cabernet grapes. I'm not sure that this wine warrants the entry price. Drank rather simple and lacked interest,

Could be from Howell Mountain but I would expect those to be quite tannic at six-year point.

I suspect that it was but can't say that I actually read the label so I won't fix on it. But having said that it wasn't the tannins that prevented a looksee behind the wines, it really did not present themselves that well. It may be in a dumb phase? any comments on that one this is really my first Dunn with a few years age on it (versus release tastings...)
