Lovely medium ruby. Perfect balance between the blend which Bob doesn't publish. Guessing I'd bet Cabernet, Merlot, and Cab Franc with maybe a tad of Malbec. Smooth as my Great-Grandsons' behind. Violets, roses, red fruits, cassis, and spice assail the nose and all come thru on the palate. Strong center and a solid 4+ lapper finish puts this lovely in the big leagues. 92/94. 35 by the box. No alc recorded but guessing at 13.5%. WW

Took this and a bottle of 95 Viader to lunch yesterday with BigRedWines. Think I've posted on the Viader earlier. Good juice. Maybe BRW will entertain us with his impression of these 2 suckers?WW

WW, this is the best wine I have had in months. Perfectly balanced blend. Lovely.

Opened another yesterday for lunch. A real testamont to the ability of Cal Cabs to not only age with dignity but to get better 'n better in the bottle. Forced to take this sumptious liquid up to a solid 94. WW
