- winoweenie - 01-07-2006 Cellared and bottled by Tauland Cellars in Oakville. Another fine new entrant into the Napa scene. Deep ruby. Nose of red and black fruits. Spice (possibly cardamon), tobacco leaf, and some earth. All hit the palate. Supple entry, solid center and a 4+-lapper finish. Some silky tannins still lurking. Needs 1-3 to fully develop. Lovely wine. 88/87. 64 by the box.14.6% alc. WW - winoweenie - 07-14-2007 Opened another on arrival back home last evening. Nose has expanded significantly. The spice and floral notes are more dominate. Take this hummer up to a solid 89. WW - winoweenie - 11-13-2010 2nd and 3rd post. WW |
