B.v. was lucnh. A very nicely developed Napa cab that shows its' origin. Deep garnet, sweet vanillan notes with a good core of brite red fruits with the tell-tale Dust. Rounded tannins finish off this always reliable bottle. 88/90 15 by the box.
The estate Rhinefarm vineyard has been putting out some really nice grapes since the early 90s. This Sonoma beauty is no exception, and went beautifully with a grilled filet last nite. A spicy note comes with some red fruits, a bit of cocoa, and a decididly floral note that comes with maturity. Smooth entry, a nice center and a solid 4-lapper finish. INHO the best cab From Jim I've had. 90/91. 17 by the box.ww
