One of my very favorite bottles vintage after vintage. Delia is a very strong-willed personality that knew exactly what she wanted in this vineyard situated on the lower part of Howell Mountain. She oriented her vines up and down the hill insted of across the contour giving her grapes maximum sun exposure. She also uses almost 50% cab franc in this delicious wine. Fragrant, with the putity of the cabernet fruit blending with the violet-floral aromas the franc this deep ruby wine comes across as a pure seamless velvety mouthfeel. The finish shows perfectly round tannins that will carry this beauty another 15-20. This particular bottling is 53% cab and 47% cab franc. Elegance personified. WW

Just saw Delia in Seattle on Friday night. Her 94 was a dandy for sure.
