My how this sucker done evolved! The last bottle I opened was 3 yars back and it was still wrapped in a tannic shroud. The perfume literally leaps out of the glass. Still almost opaque, but a ruby rim gives an indication that this is an older puppy. Bottled as Sonoma Red Table Wine, this is a blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals. Merlot, Cab Franc, Malbec,Petite Verdt and Cab. No percentages are given but I'd guess that it's at least 70% Cab.Like most of the top 90s', this is a terrific bottle of juice. Really a heavyweight center palate and a 4-1/2 lapper. This fruit driven bottle still has enough silky tannins to let it improve for another 3-5. 93/90. 45 on release. WW
