Have always had a thing for Mt. Veeder fruit. Big, brawny, muscular and briary this stuff demands your attention. Still opaque, with a purple rim, nose beginning to show the black fruits, dark chocolate, and spices with A hint of dust ( not Rutherford ) and all comes packaged with a heavy dose of rounded tannins. Softening and becoming accessible since the last tasting. Big and delivering a whale of a lot of flavor for the buck (29). A very reliable and underappreciated, IMHO, producer of premium Napa Cabs. WW
