Medium ruby. Nose of black fruits, chocolate, spice and eaarth. Lovely mature bottle that is at the top of its' game. One of the few 93s' still in the cellar. Will drink up over the next few months. 90/93. 18 by the box. 13% alc. WW

Opened the last of the Mohicans today for lunch. Was stronger than the last bottle. A well crafted bottle that stood up to the time-test. Mite have improved another point over the last year but has always delivered lots of pleasure. I'm saying goodbye to all of the 93s. May have a few more bottles left. A very servicicable year. WW

Found another orphan in the cellar last weekend along with it's previous vintage the killer 92. Took both to lunch today with a dear friend and his CB. Results are as follows. The 92 (WS #3 Wine-of-the_year) is still the complete package. Thot I'd depleted all the inventory 2-3 years ago. Still deep ruby, with no bricking. Lovely nose that is still redolent of red and black fruits, roses and lilacs, anise and cinnamon, and a background of wild strawberries. The palate gets all of the above along with bakers cocoa. Maybe just a tad on the down-side but wish I'd bought another couple of cases. The 93 is still a shade away from the top but still gives lots of juice for the buck. Very satisfying to all. WW
