- winoweenie - 12-16-2000 12/14. Tried another bottle of this as the last one was so closed and dumb I finally gave up on it after 3 days and into the Marinara Sauce it went. This brute of a wine is opening up. Almost opaque, with black fruits galore with the chocolate, spicy,deep nose that`s associated with Napa fuit. Big entry, lots going on with a solid center and a 4-lapper finish. To all of you who have this cellared, leave it for at least another 2 years. IMHO, It`ll be a beauty.
