One of my favorite winemakers using grapes from one of the great Sonoma Vineyards equals a killer bottle of juice. Louis Martini bought this jewel in the mid 1950s and it was the cornerstone of his terrific Zins and Cabs to this day. Ed S who learned his many skills from the legendary Myron Nightengale at Beringer is now making some aufully potent juice and this is IMHO one of the best. Supple entry, weighty center and a 4&1/2 lapper finish this has the stuffing to improve for another 5-8 and hold another 10. A knock-your-socks-off bottle that really surprised me. 94/92. 45 by the box 14.4% alc. WW
