I have this from when I was on their mailing list a few years back. Still have a bottle of the 1147 too. Wasn't rated that highly so I pulled it early for a dinner party last night. OUTSTANDING wine. Everyone was blown away. Did not take notes but do remember great complexity and a long finish. If this is any indication, I can't wait to get to the 1147. Another example of why not to listen to "reviews" or "ratings."

I just remembered why I don't have recent vintages of this wine. Got their mailer today and I can only buy the wine in flights. So, in order to buy any cab or 1147, I am stuck buying the rest of the nonsense they make. Oh well, another mailer bites the dust...

Hate it when a plan falls apart! WW

GAD, I told ya so. Had this bottle several months back at customer dinner that we turnded into a wine tasting and it was just wonderful. The fruit was good, but it was the velvety mouthfeel that made it stand out. Those DAs are going to make you real happy over the next few years. Damn good.
